Called the WIC office and got an appointment the same week. The whole staff was super friendly and very informative. I always have my doubts when seeing negative reviews I know everyone has different experiences but mine was very pleasant and everything moved quickly I should say that it wasn't busy when I was there so may have alot to do it moving quick but everyone was very nice.

Wrote this 3 years ago. Not very helpful. They tell you what you can eat. They refuse to let me have anything 2% milk even though it's covered by wic. I keep asking for 2% and they refuse to change the 1% to it. If you get formula through them and you want to change over to a different type covered by them, expect them to ask for the unopened cans so they can throw them away. That's very wasteful. I told them I could still use that formula for my other baby and they're refusing to change her formula until I hand over the unopened container. Be better off getting food stamps instead of using this service. Just too bad they claim my husband makes too much money when he's the only one working. As of 9/5/23 My cousin messaged me about how they treated her and I told her how they done me. They will treat you as if you have no clue on how to feed your children. They will make you think you are ruining your children. They make you feel like a bad parent all the way around. They will tell you that your kid is overweight when they aren't. They finally started taking in my kids height on that one. They will fuss at you for allowing sweets, soda, and allowing sippy cups past 18 months. Kid won't drink the juice? Expect to get fussed at for it. You take care of your child and ignore these people because all they do is make people feel bad. Personally, they can go do you know what to themselves.

The ladies at the front desk are wonderful but the midwife I saw, Mrs. Chance was very pushy, didn't help me feel encouraged at all, or joyous that I was having a baby. After telling her concerns about taking aspirin while pregnant she recommended me to a psychiatrist... I felt like I was there for a cancer diagnosis.

I had a wonderful experience here. Everyone was professional, kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, respectful and extremely helpful. Dont let the negative reviews deter you from coming here. The place was immaculate and the experience was pleasant start to finish. A big thank you to the staff members that helped me and my children. I am very grateful for this program.
