I felt compelled to write a review because I had such a wonderful experience. I needed a vaccination and walked in without an appointment. I was out in 20 minutes. Every staff member that I encountered was extremely friendly from the moment I walked in the door. The facility appears brand new and is very clean. It makes me proud to know we have such a fine facility in our community.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I left 5 voicemails over the course of two weeks trying to schedule pediatric vaccines. Not a single call was returned. I called the main public health number and was very rudely told that if I left messages, they would be returned. It has been TWO MONTHS. We’ve gone elsewhere, but not everyone has that choice. Very disappointed in our local health department.

charged me $516.60 for a health visit that had always been free prior. they me left hanging trying to “sort it out”, and now my bill has been sent to collections because they told me to wait for brittany smith / her manager / the department to figure it out. thank you for now ruining my credit, leaving me hang for months despite my multiple attempts at resolution, and charging me an unaffordable “fee” for testing. complaint will be sent to union county gov + ncdoj.

This is an absolute joke of a facility. I schedule an appointment well in advance and show up on time. There is no guidance on what floor or area of this building you need to go to. Waiting downstairs for said guidance caused me to be 13 mins late for my appointment. At which point they marked me as a no show and said I would have to reschedule. I would understand it if they were packed to the brim with patients, but seeing as I only saw one other person there it calls into question the actual work ethic of the clinicians and employees working at the clinic. With a red flag like that, can you really trust the work they will perform? In a word: NO. Do yourself a favor and go to an actual doctors office if you are in need of care or check up. Use this place ONLY if you need to go to the restroom and it’s on the way to wherever you are heading. Though, I hope they can aid you in your search for the bathroom, it could close while you look around for it.

We’ve been very happy with the health department. We used them for vaccines for our family and we never had to wait too long for any of the visits. Everybody was kind and the facility was very clean. We’d use them again in the future if we needed to.
