Great experience! We needed a certified copy of a decree, and everyone was incredibly professional yet nice. We got in line (which was already pretty long) at 8:55 AM, and we were out with our three copies of the decree by 9:28 AM. The security personnel were helpful and kind, and the people in the records room were very nice as well.

Probably the most memorable experience in NYC. I loved it. From entry, the employee guys working there were so fantastic and friendly. I was wandering around the halls, headed on up to the 5th floor. The jury rooms, seeing the building in person was just a really ‘awe’ moment. You see it on tv, you see it in law and order and most famous criminal cases around the world, so to be there in the building felt surreal. Ireland 🇮🇪 we don’t have stuff like that. Not glamorised anyways. When you go through on arrival - your phone will be taken away. No photos ❌ (but you will get a number tag plate for your phone slot) you’ll go through an x-ray. After that, you can potter around. You are allowed into Jury rooms, you can listen to hot cases and regular simple cases that are happening around NYC. Jury duty benches all outside too. Vender machines close by. Was quiet enough on the day I went. Very cool - well I mean extremely cool if you like that sort of thing. Some people won’t get it, but those that do will love it 😍

Beautiful courthouse building in New York City. There are a few plazas nearby with food trucks, benches, fountains and sculptures. Lots of shows and movies are filmed in this area, especially law and order. Worth a visit if you are in the financial district or planning to go to the Brooklyn bridge.
