Thank You “Nikita”, who works in the register of deeds office at the Duplin County Courthouse. I had a rough morning trying to gather information on legal documents, for myself and my family. She was so patient, well informed, fast and efficient. Quality customer service is something that we don’t see very often today and I really appreciated her help.

Duplin County Register of Deeds is very fortunate to have one of the most professional and pleasant group of office personal working in North Carolina. This is a direct reflection on the present Ms Savage and in the past Mr Brinson Register of Deeds. This county office is a huge plus for Duplin County.

I have sold a couple plots of land around the Magnolia area and none of them have been stopped at the Register of Deeds office. None of the buyers have not been able to proceed their purchase because the Register of Deeds office have tried to update their system however this has been an ongoing problem for over a month now. Also, this may seem to be a minor issue, but I use the GIS system to access property records for historical information. It, too, as had very limited functionality. Is everything in the Duplin County property records broken and no one knows how to fix the rampant problems? Is this what Duplin County tax payers get for their services? Someone should either know how to fix the Register of Deeds or find someone that can.
